Reasons to keep the IAM

Just curious if anybody has any reasons to keep the I AM MANAGEMENT union. I know that I can't think of any.

Simple. You want bankruptcy era wages and benefits, no representation, crappy TA offers, and best of all you love watching Canale and company line their pockets at your expense. That is why you should keep the IAM. It feels great to contribute to so much good.

I hereby recommend that we keep the iam. If we were to get rid of them, that would show how truly selfish we are. It would not be fair for us to take away their monthly conventions, their golf renzdevous, and their $100,000 paychecks that they have so honestly earned. How could we be so selfish? How could we live with ourselves knowing that we have taken the meat off of the table for the iam fat cats? It doesn't matter that there has been no meat on our tables for 13 years. We don't count. We just pay their salaries. And God forbid that they would have to return to the rank and file and do and honest days work for less than an honest days pay. Who are we to suggest they assume such a mediocre lifestyle? I shutter just thinking of them having to throw bags again. I wonder if they remember how? Well they better start practicing, cause if and when they come back they are going to be in the bins for a long time. They should also be very comfortable with the lav trucks, cause they've been shltting on us for a long time.

Here's another good reason

You get the opportunity to live all over the U.S.

Just as you get settled in one Station, it closes to mainline
(according to the contract) and you get to find another home!!!
