Pathetic- 10525 FSC voters eligible, only 6594 voted.
It passed 58% to 41%

What a sad day!!

Almost 4000 people didn't vote on the FSC contract. I know the clerks have a LOT of apathy in them but damn...It doesn't help that they have no local leader that stands up for them. Please don't try to tell me Sidney Chickeniz or Darran "tiny tears" Pearce can lead anyone.

Aircraft Maintenance and Related, and Stores Clerks reject the terms in the company's last offer.

"Local union leaders say that the five groups that accepted the contract should be exempt from court proceedings while the two that rejected the offer leave their fate to the bankruptcy court.
Among those who rejected the offer were workers at American's maintenance facility in Tulsa, Fort Worth Alliance Airport and mechanics at DFW International Airport."

I think it should be made public all the names that didn't vote!! Truly pathetic

looks like a good turnout for M&R Voters. TWU VOTE BREAKDOWN: Aircraft Maintenance and Related workers had a narrow vote as well. 56% voted NO to AA's offer: 5,307 to 4,179.

Kudos to the mechanic & related group and stores for standing up to AA. By voting NO you gave AA the "bird" to their POS LBO. Now, it's time to get to work and replace the TWU. Get the cards rolling boys......it's time for CHANGE!

Good Luck to ALL!

Unfortunately, changing who collects dues won't do us any good at this point.

It's a shame the company didn't understand that most would have voted for a deal that made us equal to the lowest total compensation amongst our peers - their greed pushed the "ask" too far.

United we will stand!!
Never give up..Never give in!!
Thank you to my M&R & STORE brothers and sisters who fought the fight....and didn't back down. Fear was not an option. We proved to every airline that we will not bow to corporate greed. "WE" are American Airlines!

Uh - sorry, but a 6% margin doesn't prove a thing - damned sure nothing about principles.

The 2010 fishwrapper was voted down by 20% - that's principle - not this. I'd bet on a modified deal soon to buy 7% back.

The problem, though, are the solid "NO" people that didn't bother to vote or those that had troubles at the last minute getting registered - those are wild cards.
