I had heard that Ron Roth was suspended in Phoenix but not why. Not sure if it's true or not.

Probably for some stupid things like attendance, no??

Ron's a straight shooter, I couldn't see him getting involved in anything dishonest.
Maybe a cart flip.

So let me get this straight...attendance is stupid? Oh wait, the Union will save your job if you have too many attendance occurrences. You'll be OK!

This union isn't in the business of saving jobs... they're in the business of lining their pockets. I filed a grievance quite some time ago and still have no resolution on it (no, it was not attendance related). Begs the question of why I am paying union dues, except to help line the pockets of the $100k club.

Anyway, don't want to get off topic... no info on why Ron was supoosedly suspended.... hmmmm?

You still get alot of rah-rah about unions protecting workers. Everyone in the unions I talk to have stories that don't show that, they are like any other big Bureaucracy, really only concearned with protecting their own power and influence. If they got out of Poitics and really focus on each company and contract locally the employees would be better represented.

Although I disagree with Ron Roth on his stance to contract out stations, it is a big issue that your company suspended him. I have a huge problem with that since he is on the negotiations team and my understanding is that his suspension wasn't justified.

Differences aside, the masses must support Ron Roth on this. Canale can support Ron by calling the company and postponing negotiations until the company cleans up these union busting techniques and brings back Ron with full back pay. Otherwise Boss Canale should say screw negotiations. I'm tired of your company doing whatever it wants to piss on the masses, including the suspension of a negotiating team member. C'mon Canale, get your head out of your rectum and grow a set of nuts.

There MUST be respect.

Geezus, do I agree with that! Can not permit the company to covertly get rid of union reps buy pulling a suspension wihout just cause.

Don't let them get away with this. Union busting at its finest...Is Jerry G. still on the property???
