Rumor Or Fact?

I'm surprised that it hasn't already happened to be perfectly honest.

I was pretty confident that ATL was going to get the full force of Expressing once the Maintenance Dept. there was closed. Too bad too...those folks did some very fine work there , but when has being good ever accounted for anything with this bunch? <_<

FWIW, I checked Aug 12th (a Friday) flights and there's only one mainline departure from ATL to CLT - everything else out of ATL nonstop to anywhere is an RJ/Emb170 or codeshare.

It will be interesting to see if HP keeps this BS Mainline/Express classification after the merger. There is so much rotten with this company, I dont know if the HP management team will even know where to begin.

Look a month later to 9/12. There are 3 flights to CLT and 2 to PHL. Wouldn't call that mainline express.

Thats more than 90 days out so there is a good possibility that the schedule showing in Sabre isnt what will actually be flown then. We change the schedules so often, but it isnt always loaded into Sabre it seems until right at the 90 days.

As we all know, Mainline Express only exists withing the CSA group. The IAM permitted the company to do away with it on the ramp in favor of outsourcing. I can tell you that being MLE is not the greatest, but it is a better alternative than being outsourced and working for a vendor for $8-$10 an hour.
