I think this is a good thing. Don't allow the gatorade though!! (Or Koolaid...) That stuff is flammable!!
Okay, Yay for the water-bought-after-security being allowed on-board. I know water helps relieve my nerves when flying.
Way to keep everyone safe. They realized that maybe it was a bit overboard to do an outright ban, but in imminant danger, I guess you go to the extremes.
