I have only seen bit and pieces of the new contract ( TA ) …I see no future here at U . It saddens me to think that we have been reduced to this.

The only thing you have left is your self respect. I will try to keep what self respect I have left by voting NO
NO to 50% sick time…………. who’s great idea was this.
NO to out sourcing employee’s…….a republican must of come up with this one.
NO to giving up my double time…...
NO to all of it.

If you can be proud to work for a company in your 40’s or 50’s making 17.00 hr.
Then you need to have your head examined.

I think he is alluding to the fact that outsourcing has become very popular in the Republican controlled congress, under the watchful eye of the Republican president. 😉

If anyone even thinks for a minute that agents will be paid $17-$18/hr topout they need their heads examined. Lakefield has had no qualms about expressing his feelings for Res as did Dave. He has been quite clear that he thinks this group is grossly overpaid, under productive and basically a thorn in the company's side. He fought long and hard for that $13.10 top out so, for him to agree to $17-$18/ an hour there has to be some kind of a plan to rid the company of the majority of those "pesky" agents. I see a massive lay-off coming. Don't be fooled by management or the CWA reps.!

1. If Lakefield makes some kind of slimy deal with the CWA, he thinks that'll create pressure on the FAs and Mechs to go along or he'll go to the media and brand them the unreasonable and radical hold-out, airline wreckers.

2. He wants to buy a little time until he can break the deal altogether and outsource Rez altogether in the next round of concessions (assuming U lasts that long).

Contracts and agreements with these sharks aren't worth the paper they're printed on. How many times do you have to get screwed to see it?

It allows us to run up more debt buying cheap Chinese junk at Walmart, so the Walton heirs can cheat they're way through University of Southern Calif, allow the Chinese to build more nuclear weapons and sell that technology to our enemies, and leverage the average worker with home equity loans so he's little better than an indentured servant.

It'll work for a while, but then our economy is going to implode. My advice is to get out of debt as quickly as you can and have an alternate source of income. Of course, if you so incompetent with your life and money, you can always take Bruce Lakefield's lead and just declare BK and screw your creditors. After all, it is legal.

Actually, PITBull says that progress is being made at the AFA negotiating table, which will once more leave the Mechanics and Related as the "mal-contents".
