Where in the b concourse in phx are crewmembers able to smoke? I tried asking a us west f/a today before my flt and got my head bit off!!!!! The agent was sweet though just waited till the f/a left and said im sure you have them too......HOW TRUE THAT IS.

There are only 2 places a crew member can smoke in PHX. One is outside the terminal bulding or up by the British Airways lounge on the international concorse or what we call the High B gates. Not much of a choice or convience. That's why I quit. Too much of a hassle to go smoke in between flights. Sorry to hear that one of the UWest FA's was rude to you. Not all of us are that rude...

There's got to be a secret place to smoke. Every airport has them, but no one is supposed to let anyone know. Sometimes they are in secure areas where you need an airport badge to go there.

There is a smoking area near the loading docks near the road at the "beginning" of the B concourse. It is near gate B2. Pilots use it all the time. Just ask one of the rampers who smoke how to get there.

What did the f/a say? Next time tell her to eat fudge. It is the only thing Arizonans understand. If you say that you will actually earn her respect. No kidding. The only thing mean people in Arizona relate to is meanness. Kinda like Germans.

No! No! No! Don't go to the front of the terminal. Go near gate B2 at the loading dock. Perfectly good smoking area with benches and butt receptacles. While you are there, tell everyone that US now owns America West and that their jobs are hanging from a thread.

You only have to read what you want to......If you dont like the topic dont read it...... for the others thanks for the information its appriciated.....as for the f/a that gave me a hard time i just remember that we have those on our side too........and im sure she will get hers someday cause what goes around comes around i justhope im therre to see it.

On the loading ramp below B2 you need a PHX SIDA badge to be down there. There are no secret areas to smoke in PHX that I know of.

For US West, you can smoke in the bars in CLT...one of the last places you can do that. But you are on Tobacco Road, so although I don't smoke, there is a place for smokers in Charlotte. 🙂

In most us east cities there are smoke rooms/areas......its the us east cites like phx,las,lax.sfo,san,sea the citeies us east moved that i dont know the areas please help.

PHX: Near gate B2 near loading dock or smoking lounge near British Airways club near B24.

LAS: Smoking lounge upstairs in concourses.
