CNN showed pics of a 737-400 in Boston that had its wing hit by a snow plow.

Ooops..

Poor Presto, now he's got two on the ground with damage..

The best VP of Mtc US Airways ever had.. Every other word out of his mouth
begins with F. He's a classic... A true believer that all the Technicians at US Airways are stupid and all their work should be farmed out.

USA320 Comments: Its time to outsource more. If the technicians had not been
on the ramp in Boston the Snow Plow would have missed the aircraft. Outsource all employee's at US Airways but me, me me me..

Must...... defend........ [he who must not be named]...........

Y'know, last week we had people attacking the memory of a dead TWA flight attendant who saved lives during a hijacking ordeal, and not one of you moderators bothered to step in to try and maintain the dignity of the thread, which was intended to be an obituary in her honor.

Yet, when the honor of the former guest star of this website is mocked in jest or satire, multiple members of the moderator staff immediately jump to his defense.

This is just sickening at times.

Go ahead and send me to the field if you must, but I gotta say y'all got a mixed up set of priorities on USAviation these days.........

how much damage was doen to the plane and where was it headed to tail number?

Why hasn't anyone asked about the driver of the plow?

Why would it matter if it was one of the chosen to be sent back to the lessors?

The acft will have to be repaired regardless...and likely handled from a cost standpoint by the insurer of the Boston Port/Airport Authority.

Regardless of who pays for the repairs...whom performs the repairs or even if it does become a lease turnback? This Acft is still a loss in terms of PRESENT utilization and revenue generating potential.

A loss is a loss no matter how you slice it...unless the acft is damaged after it has left U's control for good. The payments and company held insurance obligations continue no matter what...until it departs 's inventory and becomes another parties permanent property.
