Even when dems controlled both houses and finally in 2008 got the exec branch?

Looks like dems made the clown a one term golfer.

They, the democratic congress, spent a lot of their remaining time pushing through Obamacare. When people were being laid off by the hundreds of thousands the prospect of losing health insurance was scary to the 47%.

Still does if you are under employed. Many small businesses dont offer healthcare. this country is not great because one faction of citizens can toss the other out of their homes , deny them basic healthcare or has military fire power. It is great because, because...um... Well , we are so divided we are destined to fall. We suck!

But this repeated mantra of a party of no and a do nothing Congress at best is an outright lie.
Look at Senate now. Harry doesn't want to expose his flock to votes that will get them voter rath and lose control. God Bless America.
Dem's squandered their chances both under Bush and up until 2010 on lame assed ideology. Somewhere Rahm made comments to that effect upto and including the POTUS.

First, let me say if Barrack and his posse, put half as much time into the economy and jobs, that he did pushing ObamaCareTM , in the middle of the night, behind closed doors, this country would be a lot better off right now !

Second, concerning your comment praising Barrack for forcing ObamaCareTM down our throats, try talking to one of these people (see below).........I'm sure the majority of these idiots voted for him anyways and happy to see them receive what they have wrought !

"Obama Health Care Law Tax Penalty Will Hit 6 Million Uninsured: CBO"

Even got this info from Barry-O's favorite libtard news source !

Sorry but i do no read huff post.

There are elements to obAmacare that need to go but there are some like not using pre existing conditions or a lapse of insurance as reasons to deny insurance.

You may be healthy and you may even be wealthy but until you witness a healthy hard working man fall ill , lose his job and insurance, house and car and contemplate suicide because he realizes he is a burden to his family and has failed them as provider, you cannot possibly understand. Healthcare is effectively doled out by the wealthy to people like me. I have no problem buying my own affordable plan and taking that leverage away from my employer.

That's all fine and dandy and even agree with a couple of things ,i.e. pre-existing and so does Romney, believe it or not, but what I don't agree with is government forcing you, by means of taxation, to purchase something or me supplementing someone else want's, by force of government !

And I don't want to hear no crap about you being forced to buy auto insurance..............last time I checked, the government does not force you to buy a car, hence no insurance needed !

Here is a certainty: if you were free to choose and chose to decline then suddenly grasped your chest and had difficulty breathing, someone will call an ambulance for you,$600.00, you will be delivered to an e.r. Receive drugs, blood tests, x rays , $6000.00 ++, if it was a false alarm, andanother 3k for a cardiologist to give you a stress test to make sure it was a false alrm. Now if you are wealthy enough to self insure and can prove it, GREAT! Do what you want.

But if you cant, then you become a burden to the rest of us. You will become what you despise.

In the Great State of North Carolina, you wont receive tags with out proof of insurance. So, i guess the govt does force us.

For a majority of the people in this country it is a near certainty that at some point during your life you will be in a hospital. Everyone should be getting regular check ups with their doc. Men over 50 need regular prostate checks, women need mammograms and pap smears. With out insurance these procedures are quite expensive. Not to mention the costs if they find something and you need to be treated. As you pointed out a person is not going to be turned away and left to die so the cost burden will be shifted (as it is today) on those who do have health coverage. I see no reason why people should not be compelled to pay into insurance that they will more than likely need.

I think a better analogy than the general auto insurance argument is having a car that is still owned by the bank. The bank will require you to carry insurance so that their investment is covered. They do not want to be on the hook for your damage to the car. I do not want to be on the hook for your hospital bill when it come time for you to be admitted.
