Something Nice for the Holidays

A Holiday traditon at LGA, started at Eastern, and still a very rewarding experiance for all the many US volunteers and their family members who particpate. When you see some of these children, it puts many of life's unplesantries into perspective. Please watch the short video to see what I mean.

Lately there are not that many things to be proud of at US, for many at LGA this annual traddition still is. In the Spirit of the holidays I am going to ask those on this site who put a negative spin on everything to avoid adding more of the same here.

In 1982, My husband and I lost our sweet little 5 year old daughter to congenital heart disease.
She had dark curly hair, big blue eyes and the sweetest smile.......

You cannot fully understand what this gesture means to the children and their families, but I can!!
