DL announced today that Big Sky would be the latest carrier to join the DL connection program. They will handle flights out of Boston. In case anyone is interested in something other than the merger talk.

It may turn out to be merger related though as it increases the overlap US and DL have in BOS.

Probably not since the 1900s are the EAS special. I seriously doubt they would go head to head agianst other airlines with similar or larger equipment in the same route.

Count on EAS cities or cities not served from BOS currently by other airlines.

The 1900 as a tool for direct route competition is very much a non starter.

I am sure that's what it is. B1900's to BGR twice a day will be the final straw in the overlap issue......

Oh, this thread was not supposed to be merger related, sorry.....

Guess we just can't get away from it... 🙄

Adding BigSky is yet another nail in Comair's coffin.

Think it's a coincidence that it comes out on the same day that a judge allows throwing out the pilot contract at Comair?

I too think this may be the end of Comair. It's a shame-I've always had good experiences with them. Especially compared to ASA.
