As a very frequent business traveler, one of the biggest advantages WN has over JetBlue and most of the HCC is frequency of flight. If you fly within TX,FL or CA you can bet at a minimum hourly flights on a nonRJ jet with overhead space. If you live in a non hub airport, KC for example, most likely you can get a nonstop or 1 stop direct flight with high frequency without having to go through a HCC hub. I would rather be on the ground for a quick 30 minute direct flight than a balanced hub 2 hour layover.

Sure, frequency is greater in a few markets, but consider these:
WN MCI-JAX a whole three times a day, two of which connect in BNA, and one connects in MDW plus another stop. Last call is 2:25 PM! Talk about a short business day.
On Delta, you could leave as early as 5:20 AM or as late as 7:10 PM. 6 flights from MCI to DFW, 6 to CVG, and 8 to ATL.
Or how about LIT? Also three times a day, all with a STL connection. Last call is 3:20 PM. Wow, an extra hour compared to JAX!
AA flies MCI to STL 8 times a day for a LIT connection, and 10 times daily to DFW. Last flight leaves MCI 7:40 PM.
