What's new

Southeast snow

Looks like ATL will be hit again starting tonight (2/11)... DL has already started proactively cancelling flights in/out for tonight and into tomorrow. It'll be interesting to compare/contrast both events to what-if any- differences there are, and if things were better executed this time 'round.

maybe they'll learn. DL cancelled a higher percentage of its ops last time more than a day in advance.

many school districts are also cancelled... a big part of the problem last time was that the schools all let out at noon or shortly after forcing parents to leave work and pushing much more traffic onto untreated roads at the same time.

this has been a brutal winter in the N. Hemisphere. Japan just had their biggest snow event in 20 years.

Well CNN is reporting Delta crews are sleeping on RON aircraft in ATL, guess they didn't learn from the last storm, but yet agents got hotel rooms.
