Southwest Flights At Crp And Hou

Southwest is reporting they will discontinue scheduled flight service to/from CRP and HOU effective September 23 (Friday) after 12:00noon. Southwest anticipates resuming service by September 25.

After Katrina, I saw that WN flew in staff from HOU to MSY so that the staff at that airport could be relieved and attend to their families and homes. Anyone know if they are planning on doing something similar again?

Yes SWA is using personnel from OKC, DAL, and other cities to run HOU. SWA has said that they will operate extra flights after they cease operations on Fri in order to get all employees working at HOU back home.They will not strand employees in HOU.
