Well spring break started this wkend. DFW had 66,363 pgrs on SAT 3/11/06. Also yesterday the LF was 98.3% We loaded over 88.000 bags. $199.100 was paid tp 551 oversales. When I left work today we were at 67,106 and rising.

How many of those 551 oversales were voluntary (vouchers) and how many were IDB (requiring cold hard cash)?

If vouchers, No Big Deal.

If cash, I hope the 551 pax who bumped those 551 paid more than $400 each. B)

Airlines really need to move toward an ala carte pricing model for checked and carryon bags: $10 each would have brought in over a million dollars (88k plus carryons) that day.

Don't know cash or voucher. Info dfw.aa.com. You need to use pc at work for this site.
 
[Man Ill say loads are heavy-tried to book LAS on SAt. forget-about-it!Everthing in and out booked solid.
 
Just for giggles, what was DFW's bag number for the weekend? How many Code 8's?
 
I don't have the numbers any more but if I recall correctly it 1,954 tracers taken for SAT.
