Strength in Numbers?

Wow!  more than 2/3rds voted for this?  UAL is out of BK, and they are still agreeing to concessions. And BTW, is there any evidence that the co had actual estimates from contractors and what the hourly wages are that they were comparing to?  Also was UAL comparing the hourly rate of the workers?  You all do know (I hope) that contract companies have 2 different hourly rates.  The hourly rate they charge per employee they provide for their services to the airline, which could be as high as 50-60 bucks per hour on outsourcing, and then their is the hourly wages that the contractor pays each of his/her employees, which could be anywhere from 7.25 per hour as high as 30.00 per hour, some contract mechanics might get as high as 35.00 or even 40. something, but with no benefits.
This just another reason to rid yourselves of the IAM at United.  Sorry to hear this news GT.  Is it across the board for all or only employees covered in HA?
