" STRIKE THREE " ( ATL ), YOU'RE O U T !!!

All this performative BS under the guise of "election integrity," and not a single politician is talking about ways to make it structurally easier to vote. Right now, we have to opt in to participate. The default should be an opt out.

Instead of wasting time enacting laws against handing out food/water to those in line, why aren't pols asking why the lines are so long, and how to fix it?

The solutions already exist, but the GOP needs to stop pushing the Big Lie before we can get to work. In the meantime, by insisting on adhering to the Big Lie, Kemp and the GA. GOP just cost the state ~$100m. Brilliant.
I see you are so sure that it is the GOP pushing the 'big lie'. I agree they should deal with the issue of long lines, and that happens in both red and blue states.

You're going to see uniformity in voting laws by states. That is the problem now, not much at all.

Quit letting your talking point sourced information cloud your objectivity.

Ahh ha ha ha......Dude, the laws that are being implemented pretty much mirror what I live with in Pennsylvania. You know, a 'BLUE" state. Same state the SOS created her own election law 'modifications'...was rebuked and resigned.Legislature demanded they, as required by the state constitution, should be the ones who amend election law.
Your crowd wants you to be able to mail in ballots for up to two weeks after election day. If I don't vote on election day, I have no recourse, like missed the bus....just think, the election day in person tally is published, now you have two weeks to 'help out' your candidate of choice......LOL....yeah, that's the ticket....yeah.

AZ its an affidavit with your DL number and date of birth. When you sign the vote by mail application, you have to affirm, under penalty of perjury, that the info you are providing is true and correct. That is a signed affidavit. There's another easy peasy for people who don't have a DL...no biggie.

Ga. makes it a crime for giving someone water or food in line. No it does not. It is only a crime if partisan groups pass out food or drink, already are federal election laws dealing with this.

Tex. prohibit local officials from encouraging people to vote.It prohibits government officials from sending unsolicited mail-in ballot applications to voters. If you want to vote, the law says you must make a request. No chance unsolicited ballots could end up being fraudulently used?

I need to layoff the right talking points? Doooood......All I did was research your claims from 'dem talking points' or articles you blindly follow....LOL.

Lol, good misinformation. I live in AZ. and there has never been a problem until trump lost here, now they want to change. Hey, you tried. There’s 300+ laws being pushed by the gop in 47 states. They should try appealing to voters instead of squashing votes.

You've been signing an affidavit if you've voted by mail in the past. LOL
And HR 1 opens the door for any and all, registered or not registered to vote.Virtually anyone can vote without any checks or balances. Registering to vote must be a huge mountain to climb, maybe bigger than voter ID.

AZ. is trying to change what I’ve done for 10 years. There have never been claims of fraud. Nice try. You keep those right talking points to yourself. They are old and tired. Again, get people to want to vote for you instead of squashing votes. What’s wrong with having better ideas to win?

Looky here....your Georgia vote law panic porn....based on existing law from the Angel of Deaths state....Convictions in Arizona for vote fraud........NICE TRY

You need to correct your talking point source...

Georgia modeled its election integrity bill on a New York state law, a state senator said Monday.

The provision prohibiting individuals from distributing food and drinks within 150 feet of a polling station was based off of New York’s election law, Republican state Sen. Mike Dugan said.

“We copied that provision from New York,” Dugan told the National Review.

New York’s state election law prohibits non-election officials from giving “any meat, drink, tobacco, refreshment or provision to or for any person,” unless the gift in question has a retail value of less than one dollar.

Dem Abuses Prompted Georgia Voting Law’s Food-and-Drink Rule

The first-time Democratic candidate for the state House of Representatives ordered four pizzas, and handed out slices to the people in line, while a campaign worker photographed it all and then posted pictures on social media, according to a local newspaper account.

My "source" is growing up--and voting--in a state that pioneered voting by mail. It does everything the GOP claims it wants without all the messy suppression nonsense.

AP is saying MLB has chosen.... Denver.

Colorado only allows 15 days of early voting (less than Georgia's 18 to 22), and they have voter ID laws as strict as Georgia.

They're shunning a 50% African-American city for a 90% White city.

What exactly was accomplished with the move, aside from choosing a solid blue state?....

That AZ. Post is priceless, did you read it? Lol, like I said, no reason to change. As for Ga., ok, less than $1, a bottle or cup of water is more? What’s a slice of pizza? Dude, nice try. Your talking points come right from the right’s playbook.

Doesn't really matter what the value of the "gift" is. Electioneering is electioneering.

If you had Klansmen or Proud Boys handing out free cupcakes and taking pictures of the voters who refused them, perhaps your opinion might change...

The only reason laws get changed is if there's a need. Clearly, there were unforseen circumstances that created loopholes that were exploited.

There wasn't ever a need to define drop boxes until everyone was told the USPS couldn't handle the mail.

There was no need to worry about curbside or mobile voting centers until people were told they shouldn't stand in line without six feet of space between people (which is now only three feet?).

There was never really a need to worry about needing access to water or snacks until voting machines required sterilization between users, thus reducing throughput of a polling place to half of what it would be normally.
