STS leaving MCI

I doubt it. Business is booming for STS especially the on call work at AA. They even have the crews asking for them by name. The only thing that worries those guys at STS is for the AA mechanics to start doing their own jobs. Seems the AA “Techs” pencil whipping tires and brakes is making the STS Mechanics rich with overtime. Also there are plenty of INOP fuel quantity indicators, INOP start valves and ventral stair lights to keep them more than busy during the day.
Keep up your usual good work AA. STS loves doing your work.

The reason for thie scab outfit STS is so busy is because of all the maint. stations AA closed down, and the return of the RS check which lets overnight aircraft fly with thru flight limits. Sounds like you know quite a bit about pencil whipping Fairy Larry !!

How are they scabs? What picket line did they cross? The TWU and AA Management got MCI closed.

Pencil whipping? Not at the airline I work for. We have scheduled maintenance. Oh yeah... and a contract.

We need to know if you work the line and if so, are you saying you never defer and item?

No, I'm saying they overlook 'pencil whipping'

Well that I can believe. Those of you who still have morals need to get a hold of this problem with your union brothers. AA is getting a reputation with its maintenance and it's showing up in out stations with decreased reliability.

If you have deferred items and then accuse others of "Pencil whipping" then IMO you are a hypocrit.

You think putting a item on MEL is "pencil whipping"? Using the MEL to move an airplane is what you are supposed to do. It's not a bad thing. Pencil whipping is knowingly signing off that overnight check, knowing a worn brake or tire won't make it to the next check. That's pencil whipping and it happens more often at AA.

Larry quit drinking your company kool-aid. Oh BTW what great airline do you work for ? Im guessing Delta which is infested with X NWA scabs
