Kerry will win NJ but only by about 8 points rather than the 16 points Gore won by in 2000....PA will also go Kerry..Im worried about Wisco and Minn. as I think he will lose those but things look good in Ohio and Michigan...

USA Today poll shows Kerry in lead in Florida!!!!!!!!!!

There are more registered Democrats in Florida than registered Republicans. If all concerned vote, than the outcome is determined (and all concerned won't vote ...arrrgghhh). We shall see.

Anyone know how registration breaks down in the country?

I voted for Kerry in the "swing state" of West Virginia.... all 5 electoral votes. Of course if Gore had only won it we wouldn't be in this mess. Polls seem to indicate that Bush will take the state again, which I don't understand since we have the lowest median income in the country and Bush only cares about the rich. Plus the democratic candidate for governor has about a 33% lead in the polls. I guess they are all drinking the Bush koolaid...

Whindler - I was on a business trip to WV last week - the first time in the state in my life...I was in Huntington & Hurricane areas and was impressed with the economic strength of Huntington and Hurricane/Teays Valley...I guess the rest of WV is bad off according to the stats. At least in Huntington, the lawn signs were 50/50...I have always maintained that the shock of 2000 for me was not the Gore loss of Ark. or Tenn. but WV...By the way, Whindler, I enjoyed my time in Wild, Wonderful WV! And Manchin is ahead by 33 points - Wise won in 2000 for gov as a Dem!!
