Both IAM and Teamsters have said that they would most likley use DOH for senority integration.
I read the Teamsters news letter that said it would most likley be DOH but with fences.

Briefly, and please keep in mind all is contingent upon how they (IBT) define the phrases as they use them, i.e. "fences", "DOH", etc.
Anyway here goes;
"Dovetail", as used by the IAM, to dovetail means the blending of the seniority of employees from two or more locations, and/or carriers. A blending of seniority may be based upon "Date of Hire" (DOH) or "Date of Entry into Classification" (DOE).
For example: hypothetical employee Jeff Smizak was hired into the Food Service group on May 3, 1982. Thereafter, on date of October 23, 1985, Jeff transferred to the Public Contact Employee (PCE) group working as a gate agent for nearly four years. On September 21, 1989 Jeff transferred to ramp. Jeff now has three seniority dates; his Date of Hire 5-3-1982, his Date of Entry into PCE of 10-23-1985 and his date of entry into ramp of 9-21-1989.
Under strict Date of Hire, first hired becomes numero uno, regardless of the craft or classification being worked and or into which first hired. The original date of hire holds even when leaving/transferring into another craft or classification. As in the example above, hired as food service in 1982, transferred to passenger service 10-23-1985 and later transferring into ramp on 9-21-1989. Date of Hire allows Jeff to exercise of seniority over anyone hired after 5-3-1982 within any of those groups, in observance of contractual point and/or locality restrictions.
On the other hand, Date of Entry can and is in many instances a completely different date. For example: hypothetical employee Jeff Smizak was hired into the Food Service Group on May 3, 1982. Thereafter, on date of October 23, 1985, Jeff transferred to PCE and on September 21, 1989 he then transferred to ramp. Jeff now has three seniority dates; his Date of Hire 5-3-1982 and his Date(s) of Entry into Classification(s) 10-23-1985 PCE and 9-21-1989 Ramp.
Using date of hire seniority Jeff could displace anyone hired after 5-3-1982 regardless of craft/classification, however, using date of entry seniority, Jeff could only displace those hired within the involved classification and/or craft who were hired after his date of entry into that specific craft/classification.
Very complex subject, hope I did nothing to further confuse anyone, but it is an important difference everyone should have a full understanding of.
