they stood their ground.. unlike CWA.. like i said if they get the snap back.. inside will not be happy and CWA-IBT may see maybe not a new call for new representation.. also the CWA members are getting tired of CWA newsletters in the mail about all the great things they are doing at AT&T bell south etc etc etc.. nothing about US. enough is enough.. 500.00 per year in dues.. for what...
 
i agree with you.. at UA they have always been represented by one union. inside and out.. they also bid inside/outside shifts.. no fence agreement.. i would jump to work the ramp in a heartbeat and still keep my seniority.. like the old days.. you would get contented employees who want a break.. at CO .. and they are not union in the summer the senior people go out to the ramp enjoy the sun and no stress working the tkt counter and dealing with thunderstorms and 4 hr ground stops for a 1 hr flight..

Do you think most of Passenger Service Group is willing to stand in fount of the airport terminal and hold a sigh and go on strike? This is what it takes to standup against jerry and gang they are big league
If the Passengers Service Agents had the IAM contract 26 additional stations would be outsourced plus mainline express would still exists TOS agents would be making 2-3 dollars hr. less have 1 less week vacation and furlough agents would have 60 days recall rights. How long will it take for this change of control to play out if it ever does?If and it is a BIG IF IAM wins the change of control grievance CWA will have egg all on there face.

You better believe jerry glass wants another union vote form the NMB and the Passengers Service Agents would more then likely be unrepresentative
Like management woulld love to have.Do you honestly believe 50+1% of the agents would even vote much less for a union jerry and gang would be all over it.Sometimes the agent group forgets who they are up against

the CO an DL customer service agents are non union but their management did not threaten them with hugh pay cuts working conditions and benefits unlike this company. pretty scary.. even the DL agents are getting rewarded with bonuses for recongnition of their work during BK.. and people wonder why employees have an attitude. Can you imagine if we did not have any reprensetation what they would have done to us.like i said pretty scary.

Base of $36,480 after TWO paycuts. They will get a check for 8% of there 2006 W-2 this week and some stock as a coming out of BK bonus and a 4% raise in the next 6 weeks.

I'M SAYING WE WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITH THE IBT REPRESENTING US, AT LEAST ONE OF THIER OFFICERS SHOWS UP AT MY ATO OCCASIONALLY. LIKE I SAID PREVIOUSLY, THE ONLY TIME I SAW SOMWONE FROM THE CWA WAS WHEN CRYSTAL CITY CAME TO "SEIGELIZE" US OR EXPRESS US OUT. OH YEAH AND THE WHOLE SNAPBACK REFUSAL, LIKE JERRY SEINFELD SAID "THIS IS HOW THEY NEGOTIATE IN THE BIZZARO WORLD". FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DON'T GET THE LAST LINE, ASK ANY SUPERMAN ENTHUSIAST.
