I already knew the answer to my question.
Tooo Baddd, Sooo Saddd...

Both individuals tried their best to unite the M&R to no avail.
Both failed.

Can 'You' as the son of GT give an honest interpretation as to why?

Citizens of the USA sought a constitutional based??( I added the question marks) republic where representational democracy  (I added) of the majority(what??...added) is improved with added minority rights(WOW!!.....added by me) that are protected by law.

What Constitution are you reading, my friend??

More than the robber baron (then or now), it is the average Breadwinner that allowed the U.S. to evolve from 13 bankrupt colonies into a preeminent world power.

Bankrupt colonies??? What in the heck are you talking about?? The creation of our Constitutional Rebublic was NOT based upon the "rich" VS the "poor working man"!! England was trying to enslave the young USA through TAXATION........without REPRESENTATION.

The foundation of our Republic had nothing to to with "the working guy"......and for you to even try on this forum to suggest as much, is ludicrous. Did men, then and now, work, die, dedicate their lives working to build this country?......You bet they did! I had many relatives that worked their butts off......Ever hear of the steel mills in Pittsburgh? Now, it's you and me pal.....

I kindly suggest you do some research on the REAL foundations and principles of why our Constitutional Repuplic was formed.

GOOD DAY!

You would not know what to make of my "rant", as you put it, because if you like that way of thinking, you sure don't understand the Constitution and the Founders' intent of what this Republic was suppose to be, once was for some time, but over the last 30-40 years, maybe slightly longer, has been destroyed by some to get us into the "Global Order", if you will.

Good Day

I'm not sure who is saying what here as the comments, quotes, rhetoric, and opinion are so mixed in together.

To defend what I wrote: England was not trying to "enslave the USA" because there was no USA only already "enslaved" colonies of England. Colonies that mainly consisted of working class types (craftsmen, small business owners, and farmers) who had put up with enough and fought back. The elite / ruling class in England was robbing, looting, or usurping an unfair share of the wealth generated by the "colonist" aka working class. Call it "taxation without representation" if you must but by any name it was still taking from the workers to give to the rule making elite!

The other point was that this country started as a group of colonies that were bankrupt (in fact so broke they had to send Ben Franklin to Europe to secure funding just to fight the Revolution). The newly formed USA went from that was less than a 3rd world status to become a world power based on the us in USA.

Don't for one second think this is a rich versus poor thing - success should be rewarded. Risk, enterprise, and hard work all deserve the right to the fruits of those efforts. However, manipulation of the system in a self-serving manner is not deserving of anything then or now!
