How will replacing Union figureheads benefit us in mediated negotiations? Sorry, but I don't see the merit in what you propose. How could the AMP supersede what the TWU has been able to do so far and not violate the status quo requirement of the RLA?

It seems as if hss's ability to understand how democracy works continues to escape his grasp.

You see my alias using, twu sweet deal making friend the only thing being replaced is the unaccountable, undemocratic practices the twu uses in our craft and class. Your assumption that AMP will mysteriously make the NMB cower is typical of what the twu faithful are instructed to believe. Show me where AMP has ever indicated that we would violate the status quo of the RLA?

You do not see merit in replacing the twu with AMP because of the simple fact that you fear change for the better plus it would mean the disappearance of a network that protects people such as yourself. It amazes me that for someone who will allow the the continuing errosion of our craft and class to remain in the shadows and attack those who understand it is our RESPONSIBILITY to act as STEWARDS for a proud craft and ensure that we move forward as a whole NOT individuals such as the twu has allowed to happen.

You talk about merit? You do not know the first thing about merit.

Not merit- TWU Int. Reps. are appointed without the membership being allowed to vote for them.

Not merit- TWU Int. Reps. do not live under the contracts they negotiate.

Not merit- TWU Int. Reps. did NOT share in the pay and benefit cuts we took EIGHT years ago.

Not merit- The ONLY people argueing that the twu is a better union while vilifying those that factually point out otherwise are people too afraid to use their real name.
