Surveys are good and all but what about AGC's and shop stewards coming around and getting input from guys on the floor and out on the line. As sad as it is, very few attend meetings but that shouldn't mean you don't get representation. Just my two cents!

I agree, but most on the line think that we will get sold out for more union dues.
Our "snap back" will get negociated away for more jobs.(union dues)
Some have figured out the snap back to be worth a couple thousand dollars.
IMHO its all about the money, paid time off, sick time, and severance.
Everyone should print a copy of the survey they submitted so when we are told "the most important item per the survey was the iam pension plan" we can call them on it.
 
Not sure where you work (city)/(dept) but there was a petetion going around basically stating if the snap back was won that it not be bargained away. Would it make a difference who knows!
