This thread reminded me when I used to work for KODAK. I was very happy to be a KODAK employee. I did my job 150% and would travel wherever I was needed. (Hence why I've been "in love & in hate" with US over the past 10 years.)
Now, I worked for KODAK HEALTH IMAGING. Note...HEALTH. Not consumer (digital cameras or film) or document (copiers). HEALTH......digital & computed radiography. But every single time Kodak stock took a tumble all I would hear whenever I was at a customer site for work was....oh my, your stock is going down again.
Now, what is my response to that? I'd shrug my shoulders and say. Oh well. Guess you shouldn't own Kodak stock!
For 7 years I had to listen to that. The funny thing is HEALTH IMAGING was the most profitable division of the entire KODAK company. Another reason why they sold them off recently to bolster the consumer digital camera division.
Also, I got tired of fighting within Kodak to make our products more user friendly, so I left after 7 years.
So to end this reader's digest story.........ROACH HATER........get over yourself. You obviously like working for US or you wouldn't be there. I liked working for KODAK too but there came a time when it was best for me to leave for greener pastures.
Your coworkers will complain, your customers will complain. It's part of our human nature. If you don't want to listen to the complaining, then quit US and don't read this message board.
It's not a hard decision.
