Absolutely agree. Personally, while I believe in God, I believe he is far more forgiving...but if I'm wrong and he isn't, I'd just as soon let him be the judge of that. It's not the government's job.

Actually it isn't everyone's problem! 29,418 new HIV cases annually out of a population of 300 Million is statistically meaningless, a nit, blip on the radar screen.

I have never been able to understand the Neo-Cons who bellow like a wounded cow over government abuse of power and not following the Constitution, while on the other hand they seek to regulate the behavior of sovereign citizens of the Republic. I wonder how many heterosexual boys are using the girls bathroom in order to hear a girl peeing, and if they are lucky, hear a girl fart. Because you may not know this, but when I was a teenager I worked as an evening janitor at a high school and we had to clean the girls locker rooms and bathrooms...and there wasn't a urinal in sight. So if a boy is in there, he ain't gonna see much, and the women are in a stall.

As for the shower thing....that must be some fantasy of yours. Let me ask you....if you were a boy who wanted to be a girl and didn't want to be ridiculed (most transsexuals gender identify 24/7) you most likely wouldn't shower if you were still sporting a penis. Of course, I can imagine that some sly teenage boy might claim he's a girl to get to shower with the babes....Easy solution - show him a clip from a porn feeling. If anything comes up, he doesn't go in.

The problem with your math is disease tends to multiply. When it is spread by gays it is not necessarily to another gay. Another issue is that is only the amount of new cases diagnosed. How many went undiagnosed?

If this estimate is to be believed then gay men are only 1.8 percent of the population but .1 percent of them were newly diagnosed in 2014. Even at .1 percent infection rate annually those are epidemic numbers for such a small portion of the population of the United States.
