I have added a photo of the bust of Charles E. Taylor that is on display in the TULE main lobby to the AMTA web site, WWW.AMTAUSA.COM. This bust was donated and unveiled on May 24, 2007. There is also a Tulsa Proclamation that was passed by Mayor Taylor proclaiming May 24th, 2007 as AMT Day. Thanks go to Howard McKinney and Steve Sixsmith, both AMTA members, for contacting the Mayor's office and having the proclamation passed. This is the second of three bronze busts that were donated and unveiled by the AMTA at AA recognizing aviation's original "Unsung Hero" and AA's skilled AMT work force. The three busts were purchased with the generous donation from Local 530/TWU Intl. for the MCI bust and TWU Intl. donation for the TULE & AFW busts.
