How offensive, and the ad exec should get a "career decision day". Guess creativity at AA has dried up.
 
The ad exec was probably in high school or maybe college when TWA was acquired, so they probably have no idea of the connection.... and given management turnover in the past 10 years, there probably aren't too many others left who would notice either.

And when reduction in forces need to occur, this junior ad exec who probably doesn't shave yet will be the one spared the furlough knife because management doesn't layoff out of seniority.
 
Just because management doesn't lay off by seniority first doesn't mean they're spared the knife for being junior. People with poor performance relative to their peers are the first to go, typically followed by the most junior.
