actually the door on a do-328 popped open almost immediately after takeoff but all onbard appeared to be a okay. the plane came back to the airfield and landed safely im surprised it made the phl news because it didnt in the abe area.
the flt crew did a tremendous job of bringing the plane back! job well done to them

Actually, one of Delta's express operators flys the Dornier Jet. But this was the turboprop version. I think PSA is the only one of our Express carriers to operate that.

Are we sure it was a Dornier 328, because the news on tv in PHL showed the a/c at the gate and what they showed was a Dash 8? It would not suprise me if they got thier facts wrong.

The AP story says it was a D-328. Either the AP or TV station could be wrong. I know local news uses stock footage a lot if they don't have a camera on hand for live shots.

I'm surprised they didnt show a silver 727 with the brown-red titles. 🙄 At least they were close.

It was a PSA D328 turboprop. The crew did a great job and returned safely to the field. No info yet as to why the door came open.

oh, please get a pic to prove this. The Dornier 328 is a Jet. ACA has them and SkyWest has them. they're pretty rare, because the company went brankrupt and stopped making them. The DH-8 looks just like it but its a prop. PSA does not have the DOJet.

There is a Do328 turbo-prop AND a Do328 jet. PSA flies the turbo-prop version of the aircraft. PSA does not fly the jet version.
