Today is the day. Today we will find out if we screwed everyone in the airline industry, or, we send a message that we ain't going to take it any more and it's time to pay up. Power to the AMT!

Thank you for voting NO!

Enough is Enough. The ibt fooled and scared the CAL mechanics into taking a garbage contract, but it didn't work with the UAL group. It's time to get our piece of the pie. Now it's time to get AMFA in and move forward. Mechanics for mechanics, it's the ONLY way........................

Glad to see the Mechanics stand up and say no to the garbage. This sends a clear message to the IBT and the Company. It has to be reverbiating all the way to wacker. Wanna turn it up. get rid of the IBT.

With the ibt pushing hard for a yes vote, it's obvious now they have NO clue what us as A&P mechanics want or need. It boggles the mind of why they were pushing so hard for a yes. Did they actually believe this was a good TA? AMFA baby.......................... NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's time to take back OUR profession.

I get the feeling that these catch all industrial unions that represent AMT's all want someone else to take care of their negotiating responsibilities and they all just siimply wait it out to play catch up with whoever makes the first crumb of an increase in the industry.

That is a really easy way to earn dues payment don't you think?

Don't get to excited, it was only a 60% no vote not enough to send a strong meassage. Ual and the Teamsters will just tweek it alittle and send it back for another vote. And you losers will vote yes....

Well with us (AA) looking to get released and you guys rejecting that piss poor compensation package it looks like it will be an interesting Summer!!

Thanks guys, you just helped us a lot. Maybe together we can make this a career again!

Just curious... how much of the NO vote was against the TA, and how much of the NO vote was simply a vote of no confidence against the IBT?

Just want to thank all the NO voters at UAL
Enough of subsidizing every aspect of this industry with our labor. We sent a message to the crooks at AA and now you have also.
Restore and more ! ! ! !

Does it matter?

No confidence in the IBT could be looked at either way. If you look at AA it seemed that those who had the least confidence in the TWU voted yes, rather than give them another chance at the table-IE "Informer" and others. So I would contend that a yes voter could just as likely be one who has confidence as one who doesnt, same with a no voter.

The way I see it they either liked the money or they didnt, it appears they said "go back and get more".

Good job guys!! No more crumbs!!
