Uniform Pictures

I heard in training today that the pictures will be on the HUB and Compass by the end of the week. I've heard really good things about the uniform and i guess the best part is there is something for everyone..if you don't like one piece, choose something else!!

The pictures are supposed to come out on the 8th in the AboutUS newsletter, but that's in black & white. I hope they make a colored poster and put them in the crew rooms.

She has pretty much criticized her co-workers, their hair, their age, their lack of education, their seniority, their............I just pointed out how IGNORANT she is. But, I can see where YOU came to the conclusion, anyone who starts their post with....Dude....sounds just like her.

Not to sure what to say after reading all of that 😱 I was hired in Jan 2000 and I served ice cream sandwhiches and had to serve those nasty genie trays and did hot towels.( which we still do trans atlantic). Never did the am service..heard about it though. I also served sundae's. They were good..but messy. So, on that note...SKY HIGH you are not to informed about what the service was in 99 and 2000. I wish that alot of our f/a would atleast get a 90's style hair-do. The 80's hair is just weird. It is nearly 2010. A 30 year old hair-do is their choice...but IMO is just aged. I was an 80's girl teenager and I roll with the times. I like to look good and stylish. Now that we have the new uniform coming... maybe someothers should do the same. IMO.

Pictures will be in color on theHub and awaCompass. Also the webcast will all be in color. The new uniforms will also be shown at Media Day which is held at CHQ on the 14th next wednesday. All the pics from that will be in color too. Newspapers and TV stations as well as business journals are all invited to attend Media Day.

Actually have to disagree. All of those services were offered way past 1999. I also know many of the FAs hired in that year, and most have an incredible work ethic and actually enjoy giving our customers the best service possible. In fact, it is usually the more junior FAs that take care of us up front. I don't believe you have any connection to US, besides lurking on this board. Otherwise you would know these little tidbits. And you thought the doggy trays were something elegant? omg lol.
sky high states: You did meals to Florida with a DOUBLE Beverage Service? Pit to Phl HOT breakfast? Pit to Ord HOT dinner?...by then, I thought it was only transcon...if so, then I'm mistaken.
Hair do's? I say APPEARANCE CHECKS need to come back. Sloppy ironed shirts, unpolished shoes, UNKEPT hair, childish things on travelpro's, dirty aprons, etc..etc. Alot of people, both senior and junior dont care about their appearance. They're matching the interiors of the aircraft. Filthy....filthy.

... you're wrong. never said they were elegant. Show me where I posted that? Actually, they were a competitive advantage back in their day. You could whip them out on a 1 hour flight. No other airline (except Piedmont) could compete with that service. A HOT MEAL on a short flight.
Debating whether the senior or junior F/A's are better at what they do is debatable. But, what shouldnt be debatable is slamming the more senior group.
