Uniform Pictures

I'm really disappointed. I hope it's just the models that are making the uniforms ugly. Maybe they'll look really good in real life. I don't like the color, the cut, the pattern, and especially the blue stripe on the sleeve.

The pictures truly don't do the uniform justice. They are MUCH nicer in person. I just think there should be SOME other color in there than the layered BLUE. All that blue on the 767 with all that blue. Good lord thats a lot of blue.

The uniforms look much better in person and while not awed, am satified that we will look good and feel good. I had a chance to talk to Stan and he stated that he used the latest in the best materials for our uniforms that will make them functional and comfortable. I will take THAT anyday over some fab uniform that looks good on size 2 models when presented but are made for the office and not ready to wear.

Anything is better than the current uniform. Wait and give it a chance. The is something for every person and I think everyone will be surprised at the fit and feel.

Apparently the vast amts of people at the meetings and online didn't express the color red enough, so let this be a lesson....instead of complaining, get involved...ok...list the excuses.

Maybe thats your opinion, but the models are real employees showing what the real uniform will look like on everyday folks working for this company. Thats the facts.

Is the uniform blue or black? The stripes on the sleeves look very odd to me. The colors are not right, the shades of blue kinda clash. I don't know what to make of all the zippers. The scarf looks a little cheap. The turtleneck is okay, I think. I really want to see them in the crew room.

USCREW

No offense to the committe, but they really do not flatter the uniform. Remember these are real f/a's modeling with little or no alterations. These are sample. US didnt go the way like Delta of misleading you and having a fab runway show with perfect models. Stan wanted us to see them in real people and unfortunately real people arent what we see in fashion magazines

As far as cut and pattern, you really needed to be at a meeting. With regards to that, you would be pleased.

Color? Splash of red would be nice but it could had been worse.

The uniform is blue..where do you see black? I think that those who are complaining really need to take the time to listen to Stans presentation or better yet took the time to attend one of the road shows. There you would have been educated on HOW the uniform were created, WHY he chose what colors, WHY these fabrics were chosen and you could have seen for yourself how well they were made. You even could have taken the time to feel the fabric for yourself and make an opinion from a 3 dimensional model. Models who wore these garments for a week, and had nothing but good things to say about them. Not whine about a photo that does not do justice to the prototypes.

I am sure if there was a splash of red you would have said, oh that looks like Airline X, or that the red was not the right color red. Maybe you havent noticed, but Our airline is blue on blue on blue. Look at the tail on the new paint livery, that is where Stan got his theme.

I am sure you didnt take the time to listen when Stan stated that the Skort was taken from a design of a $2000 skort in a posh NY store. Or that these uniforms will allow the employees to feel comfortable while wearing them and have a more modern look from what gunnysack you are currently wearing. No matter what was created, those sorts of individuals will find something to complain about.

Here is your chance to embrace a NEW look and feel confident knowing that you look good, feel good and that it represents the NEW US Airways! If not, maybe this is the reason you will finally decide to leave and allow the rest of us to take pride in working for a company that is setting the trend for cutting edge airline uniforms.

You GO GIRL/BOY!!!

Bottom line is I won't wear any new uniform until there is a single contract and management conducts themselves appropriately.

One Airline...One Contract...One Uniform

Yeah you go ahead and continue to wear your drab dark navy boring uniform. And when you get pulled off line for non compliance and find yourself without a paycheck, where is that going to get you?? Certainly not one contract, one airline, with a new uniform that you no longer can wear?

Tough talk sweetheart!! What does your uniform have to do with your contract? Why not just wear blue jeans and dump your current uniform? Your logic makes no sense but nice try. B)

You obviously have some issues. So you know what I'm going to say next? What, are you psychic?...I mean psychotic? Why are you taking this so personally? Did you model the uniform, slim? Or is that your boyfriend?

I have to say that I agree with NOT wearing a single uniform UNTIL the company gets off their A$$ES and gets a SINGLE contract done. A single livery, reservation system and website does NOT make us a single company. So lets not make it so easy on them. You want a single unified group in a single uniform flying on a shiny white airplane then give us a single contract. ONE CONTRACT ONE UNIFORM.
