The person in this article is a USAPA leader and I am damn proud of him. He was going through security and mistreated. He won a law suit regarding this. He is near the top 500 but is fighting for the good of all pilots. You do not deserve to be in the same room as this gentleman.

Then no worries out west should your gloomy prediction prove true...You'll at least have a suitable-for-framing, but otherwise worthless lottery ticket to cherish while you likely seek artifical seniority, and try cutting into the unemployment line yourself. "Hey everybody!..I was hired 2 to 4 years ago by AWA!!..and mom thinks I'm cute!!...I DEMAND special treatment!!" 😉 Enough of this BS for now.

That's quite a bit of bravado, there Mr. pilot. Let me see if I understand this correctly. You will not, under any terms, be willing to give up your seniority. You will, however, be willing to give up your seniority if it is combined with the smooth move of giving up your paycheck and other benefits all at the same time?

Perhaps you will be able to explain the logic here, cuz I'm not seein' a whole lot of common sense with that plan.

And a few years down the road there will be more than one nurse wondering just what that drooling old man in the chair is babbling on about. "His seniority isn't for sale? Oh whatever, crazy old coot, he's a cute old curmudgeon."

You know folks,

I let this one go for a while because the original post was somewhat humorous. However it denigrated quickly into yet another discussion of the pilot's dispute.

I should have not let this get this far, but the ALPA/USALPA/Nicolau issue discussion belongs only in the ALPA thread for the week. Too many parallel discussions (and I use that term loosely) make for a tedious read, a cluttered board, and plenty of wasted bandwidth.

Feel free to continue this topic in its appropriate place, but this one is closed.
