US Airways Flight 328 Today

Hi There,

Anybody know why flight 328, which is usually FLL-DCA direct, was built as a scheduled for sale flight FLL-MCO-DCA today? Operated by A319, one day only. The E170 still ran FLL-MCO-DCA as well, at almost the exact same time. Just thought it was interesting.

Another Republic maintenance issue... 3370 MCO-DCA was cancelled.

yah for republic!!! costing USAirways the money they made on the slot sale!
 
they are rediculous. word is they dont have enough crew for the last four or five planes coming this month when mda ends. they are having trouble hiring f/as\\\\ guess the word has spread that 16k a year doesnt work in wash dc.
 
MTC happens. Mainline has run several extra sections to cover MESA, PSA, Piedmont, MidAtlantic, Republic, etc. when they had maintenance issues. Express has also done the same to cover mainline MTC issues. For several days mainline ran 4 or more extra sections to cover a broken MESA CR9. One day PSA ran an extra section to MCO to protect 50 oversales when a 757 had to be downgraded to a 734 due to MTC.

Bravo to the group that came up with the plan to flagstop in MCO to protect the customers.

Carol or Bobby - FLL Coordinators -- are the ones that have had to pull this one off, quite a few times I might add.
