From the "Today in the Sky" Blog on usatoday.com... I'm sure this will have some interesting comments.

US Airways says it is making improvements in customer service, despite the recent Air Quality Ratings (AQR) that rated the carrier 15 out of 17 U.S. airlines. “Difficulties in the past were due to survival mode through a bankruptcy,†US Airways spokeswoman Valerie Wunder tells the East Valley Tribune of metro Phoenix. “We’re not strangers to running an excellent operation. We don’t find the results acceptable, but we’ve already made improvements.†Among the tangible improvements, Wunder pointed to the 400 employees just added at US Airways’ Philadelphia operation, where the airline has had several high-profile glitches over the past two years. As for the AQR rankings, perhaps the “old†America West might be able to help pull up US Airways results when next year’s ratings are released. Despite merging with US Airways and taking its name last fall, America West was listed separately in the rankings in 2005 – finishing sixth.
