Funny PI doesnt fly into any of those cities yet they are putting employees there?
Very strange.
Correct, it was all contracted by Delta, was always wierd checking in there and all the employees were wearing Delta lanyards and namebars. Especially during the failed takeover attempt, they all wore the "keep delta, my delta buttons and lanyards. The only HP/US employee there is the Station Manager.I think ANC was all contract.

US Express/Piedmont is taking over operations at ANC above and below the wing. Anyone know if its above and below in LGB, AUS, SAT, ICT, and OMA?
There are a number of stations that PDT doesn't fly into yet provides the ground service.
What's even more interesting is that I have been told by a very reliable source that during a station meeting with the VP of customer service, that VP made a statement to the effect that Piedmont was no longer an "airline" and was now a "ground service" company. When he was asked about the fact that PDT was still flying 50 airplanes, he had no response. Of course since that meeting PDT will soon be down to 40 airplanes.
Maybe we should ask ourselves why has every US regional grown over the past 7 years and during the same time ALG has been shut down/merged with PDT and their combined DH8 fleet has diminished from 100+ to 40 by the end of 2009?

ANC as in Anchorage Alaska? Am I reading this right? I'm confused but that's not uncommon
Within 2-3 years, PDT will be nothing more than a ground handling company. When do the leases expire on the -300s? 2012?There are a number of stations that PDT doesn't fly into yet provides the ground service.
