Kinda knew this would be the route the gov always takes within aviation. Love how the media builds it all up to scare the general public of a strike potential to only find out US gov won't let it happen.

I mean you have to laugh, government worshiping socialist Democrat UNION members pissed off because the government won't let them strike.

Hey LuLu, how you been?
I honestly think it was a mere tactic move by the union, they too knew the gov would NOT allow them to strike so soon or at least the first time requesting one. And BTW, the co. also knew it would not be allowed as well.

I've been OK. I am on vacation this week. Trying to think of Christmas activities to do with family.

As far as the tactical move well, they have to keep the rungs motivated.

Frankly in my opinion flight attendants are WAY overpaid.

They claim their medical and emergency training justify their pay though, over half the time they are doing NOTHING, or acting as a sky waitress. EMT's have FAR more responsibility than flight attendants do and they have to actually put it into practice every single day. EMT's make far less than a flight attendant.

All I expect from a flight attendant is to show a little leg and grab me a drink and a sammich.

AA's F/A's came to an agreement on new contract finally. Been a while coming, but looks as if they did get it done. Hey at least they finally got the extra pay for boarding and other "down times" that they were not paid before.
