Jumpseat question for ya all......I'm at a Cass participating 121 cargo airline and wanted to know what USAirways international jumpseat policy is. I am looking at commuting back and fourth between KCLT and EDDF (Frankfurt). If it is possible are there procedures for paying a departure tax. I have only ever flown as a jumpseater domestically.
Thanks, Dawg

International Jumpseating is a different animal compared to domestic. Basically there has to be a seat in the cabin for you to fly. Non USAirways pilots can not sit in the Flight Deck Jumpseat.

Try to pay your fees in advance if possible otherwise you have to go to the ticket counter to do it.

Good Luck.

As stated before you will need to ride in the cabin.
If we have an interline agreement with your carrier (probably not) then you will hgave to have a valid coupon fromn that agreement ie: ZED.
If we do not then you will have to be ticketed by a US ATO where only taxes will be charged.
