as much as i'd love to see a 777 in us colors, i'd love to see it in the pre-hp merger livery even more...John John,
Credit where credit is due-that was a real good one!
Wouldn't we love to see a 777 in US colors? Not like it would happen, but one can dream can't one?

i think we would be great with a MD-11, thats one beutiful plane, 777s though are going back to creditors, but i hope varig wont fold, but you know what, there are alot of 767-200s on the market, like EX-AA and like, why doesnt US get those planes and use them
Trust me, you don't want any of those aircraft.

777 - no way -- no "synergy" by adding them to the fleet -- more training, another type rating -- would be nice, but won't happen4 Boeing 777-200ER (one for 5 & three for 11 years old since built in 1995 & 2001, ETOPS unknown)
3 Boeing 767-300ER (13, 15 & 16 years old since built in 1990, 1991 & 1993, ETOPS unknown)
4 Boeing 757-200 (7 years old since built in 1999, Rolls Royce engines, ETOPS unknown)
I think US Airways should take over 4 Boeing 757-256 version and upgrade to ETOPS certified. B767-300ER possible? I don't think if US Airways will decide to take over some B777-200ER widebody jets because of all US pilots never had experience B777 before. B)
