No i do not want people buying guns and not know who they are. On the same token I do not want people voting on issues that will decide what kind of country we are or what rights we have and not know who THEY are.
I look at it this way, if a person that goes to the polls to vote is one that could not own a gun, (felons, illegals etc.) I do NOT want them voting.
My son has to have a photo ID to attend middle school. There is zero viable reason to not require a state or federal issued ID card when you appear at the polls to vote. It can be as simple as a voter id only card that is issued to you when you register to vote. The ONLY reason to oppose some form of id when you go to vote is to allow misconduct/fraud at the polls.
If you apply one set of rules to the constitution you must apply that set of rules to the ENTIRE constitution.
There have only been about 300 cases over a period of 10 years. Tens of millions of dollars are being spent to fix a problem that does not exist.
