Voter Fraud by Republicans in VA

No i do not want people buying guns and not know who they are. On the same token I do not want people voting on issues that will decide what kind of country we are or what rights we have and not know who THEY are.

I look at it this way, if a person that goes to the polls to vote is one that could not own a gun, (felons, illegals etc.) I do NOT want them voting.

My son has to have a photo ID to attend middle school. There is zero viable reason to not require a state or federal issued ID card when you appear at the polls to vote. It can be as simple as a voter id only card that is issued to you when you register to vote. The ONLY reason to oppose some form of id when you go to vote is to allow misconduct/fraud at the polls.

If you apply one set of rules to the constitution you must apply that set of rules to the ENTIRE constitution.

There have only been about 300 cases over a period of 10 years. Tens of millions of dollars are being spent to fix a problem that does not exist.

Tree is pushing for unfettered access to the polls; that's the exact opposite of denial...

ID is not a concept that is out of reach. The issue of the 'poor' being disenfranchised makes me laugh. Like all those on entitlements are the most dedicated and reliable of all voters.

You have had elections in the last ten years where dems won and in the end it was discovered more voted than were registered for that state.....DUH??

If that isn't fraud what is?

A felon that has done their time/paid their debt to society should be allowed to vote.

Agreed !

Tree, please show us, in the constitution, where it specifically says, you have a right to vote !

Apparently, the poor don't have a problem getting to and from the S.S., welfare, food stamp, etc. offices. Why is it an issue getting to and from a local DMV to get an I.D. ?

Wow.

I am sure that was big news when it happened. I am sure it was covered in depth by even the lamest of the media. There are most likely multiple sources, especially if there were enough to have turned an election result.

Just because you can't get your head out of your butt is not an issue on my end, just your rear end......LOL

60 votes needed for Obamacare.......

Oh I'm sorry this isn't from the Federal register.

Suck on this :

From the Buggtussell Gazette:
It looks increasingly likely that at least one member of the United States Senate may owe his seat in the world’s greatest deliberative body not to his charisma or the persuasiveness of his message but to voter fraud.
As the Wall Street Journal's John Fund reports, Minnesota Democrat Al Franken’s narrow, 312-vote victory in 2008 over incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman may have come as the result of people being allowed to vote who, under existing law, shouldn’t have been.

You tell me Hot Dog.

Forbes:
The latest revelations that illegal votes may have given Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) his 312-vote margin of victory in his 2008 Senate race—out of the nearly 3 million votes cast—gives one pause. The fact that 243 people have already been convicted or are awaiting trial on voter fraud underscores a persistent concern that, despite their small share of the vote, ineligible ballots can actually swing results.

NY Post:
As Byron York notes in his explosive column , opponents of voter ID laws like to argue its a solution in search of a problem.
But when 1100 felons vote in a tight election and the result was decided by just 312 votes, maybe there really is a problem with voter fraud.
And that's just what happened in Minnesota in 2008, when Democrat Al Franken beat Republican Norm Coleman by 312 votes, giving a filibuster-proof majority to the Democrats so they could end up passing Obamacare.
