Hostettler was not available for comment, but he said at a November hearing that records reviewed in the investigation "do not support" the administration's stance. "This program was supposed to assure workers … (that) their government was finally going to do right by them," he added. "Those tasked with implementing (it) have failed that purpose miserably and they need to be exposed."

Isn't Bush the most evil man that has ever existed!

Looks like the government wasn't quite fair in this one, it's all Bush's fault I'm sure. At least they can't be accused of waste here. Of course we don't know how many of those claims are from people trying to get a free $150,000.

Definitely not the most evil. He is a politician just like the rest of them. That places him in a category below insurance and used car salesmen.

Not quite sure how you would fake radiation sickness. It is his administration that is fighting it so yes, in this case it is his fault. No they cannot be accused of waste, just screwing someone one over who worked for the government doing one of the most dangerous jobs around handling some of the most dangerous substances on the face of the planet. I am of the belief that considering their job, they should not have to fight this fight.

Same goes for the soldiers who fought in Viet-Nam, Gulf 1 ..etc who are suffering from agent orange and the Gulf Syndrome. These are men and women who put their life on the line for this country but get very little in return.
