I called the union and they informed me that this IS NOT TRUE!!!!
Checks WILL be direct deposited as always.

The profit sharing will not be direct deposited with the 15th check. It will come as a seperated check with your 15th PAYSTUB though.

Actaully, that has NOTHING to do with John. It is NOT a PHL Local 70 rumor. This should come from the MEC level not the LEC level.

Anything to bash the new guys huh?? Unbelievable!!!!

It may seem that some are overreacting but considering how EVERY cutover has gone would it come as a shock if some payroll issues happen? Also, the wording in that CBS is not written clearly. It is quite easy to see why the issue could come in question. Let's just sit and keep our fingers crossed. Not much else we CAN do.

I just called my bank and they say it's coded as "Special" and they payroll is not going in until tommorrow. So, I would guess it's profit share deposits.

Yes folks...deposits that were put in tonight at around 5pm were the Profit Sharing deposits. I was quite happily suprised by the amount!

Ok, I have been off work for 5 days now with a killer head/chest cold. I have medicine head and don't know what day it is. I was running around the house like a crazy person freaking out. It was the profit sharing check. I called my partner at work and he laughed and asked if I knew what the day was. Well at least I got the check. I'm certainly happy we are getting them. Breathing easier now.

My paycheck is that small, and sometimes smaller each month. If you think that is a crappy paycheck, our 30th paycheck is even worse! That's what East reserves who were recalled last June are living on. :down:
