Like what are You expecting.....for Coke or Pepsi to supply it for FREE, US will pay JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER AIRLINE. Inability to MAKE A Simple choice such as this SPEAKS VOLUMES......whether YOU want to admit it or not!

I AGREE MAKE THE DAMN CHOICE......We need to come across as a single airline to our customers NOW......the flts must be similar on both to the adv pax appearence is everything.

What is with the need for instant gratification? Dude, not everything is going to happen overnight or to YOUR time schedule. Integrating 2 companies takes time. Not everything that YOU want changed will happen in the first 6 months. These things take time. I would rather have the product inconsistent for a year and save millions hammering out a new contract versus rushing a deal and screwing it up.

Take a chill pill already. Soon you will have your new uniforms, a/c interiors, coke or pepsi, etc. There are bigger things in the works that require a lot more attention.

I think YOU need the chill pill or how about a cyanide capsule.....I'm not asking for new uniforms or new cabin interiors (seems you have me confused w/someone else). All I am is saying it doesn't take a Summit to make what should be an easy decision, AND THEY can't/won't DO IT!

did you ever stop to think that there may be current contract obligations with both companies? did you ever stop to think that there would be a cost to get out of those obligations? No....instead it is easier to fly off the handle and accuse everyone of not being able to make an "easy decision".

Well get ur facts right......us east coke contract was voided in bk2..........And if memory serves they told us it would be made in a few weeks.......now its months later and we are still a hodgepodge of service aboard the new us airways

TRY THE US AIRWAYS BK SITE.......ITS LISTED THERE, AND YES IM 100% SURE......and u pay a termination fee to get out of pepsi contract or since they seem to switch who aquired whom so often to suit there needs you use that

I beleive it is AA who currently sereves both coke and pepsi on their fights now, and have for seveal years.

I think what we are all feeling is that we want consistancy in our service. Who do you think the passengers yell at when they say the magazine says...even though they missed the part about asking the f/a's.
Also, at one time we had 460 ac at East. West has glassware in fc and what does East serve? We are NOT one company and this just feeds the anxiety of the ff who will continue to see us as USELESS Air. What happened to all that glassware? Hum...460 ac before..279 now.
And would someone please tell me why having the same BOB food is such a hard change? The only transcon planes we have that DON'T have ovens are the 757 to Vegas. How hard is it to be to put CLT, PHL, PIT to LAS under a different choice in tha city

I understand contracts, but its funny how any airline can put in to play what they want when it's important. I'm not asking for a change overnight, but one company stands to gain and the other doesn't. Get on the freakin phone with the two companies and tell them this is what we want and frankly we need it yesterday. This is a multimillion dollar deal and I'm sure both pepsi and coke would have presentations in a week. Geez, this ain't rocket science.

I am convinced that if 80% of our management went on the Apprentice, NONE would make it past 4 weeks into the game.

BTW, before i was hired as a f/a, I did the coke/pepsi taste test as a second job. 80% couldn't tell the difference.
