My guess is it will stay in PHX, but I think there's also a decent chance it will move to CLT. The rumors around HP say that US has been planning on moving OCC to CLT for a couple of years. Is that true?

I posted in the thread about "moving to Tempe" that if SOC is kept in PHX, a lot of reconfiguing will have to be done.

And wherever SOC goes, I hope that both groups work in the same building for a while before the certificates are integrated. We would obvisously still have to control our own flights/crews/aircraft, but it would give everyone a chance to work together first.

It is my understanding that wherever the certificate is is where dispatch is. I am not sure if this it true or not, but that is what I was told.

Twicebaked comments are accurate. Dispatch will be located in either PIT or PHX and there are good reasons to have it in both places. It is my understanding it's a 50-50 chance on it being located in PIT or PHX. No decision has been made at this time and there are a lot of factors that have to be settled first before the Dispatch decision is made.
