The choice is yours. What do you think went on in that meeting?

I found a very interesting document...

In the recent Burchette/Romano Love Fest Video. They are talking about the "Break Through Goal" of $500 Million from the Tulsa Base Within 18 Months.

The $500 Million Breakthrough Pajama Party Video

That $500 Million sounded familiar to me so I had to search through my wonderful TWU archives. And guess what I found?

In this Jim Little Letter dated August 26th, 2003:

Click Here to read the - JIM "WITHOUT FURTHER RATIFICATION" LITTLE LETTER

Little states the following...

500million.jpg

SO in August of 2003, if we had not gave away the farm, AA would have requested $500 Million more in concessions in Bankruptcy.

And according to Jim, the TWU is going to "take back" what we have given up...

500million_2.jpg

During the coming months, all of our union officers will be in the field providing accurate information about how we are planning to take back what we have lost.

And today, well, we have a three night TWU/AA pajama party, and a break through vision and goal, and Tulsa needs to come up with the $500 Million.

So one TWU Official is claiming in writing that we relieved ourselves of $500 Million in further concessions by doing things his way without further ratification, and we are going to take back what we have lost.

The other TWU Official is having three night pajama parties with AA Management and making videos about creating break through goals to get the company the $500 Million they missed out on at the hands of Jim Little.

And to date, none of us has been given any accurate information on how they plan to take back what we have lost....

ANY QUESTIONS?

I think Little meant what the company wants to take back.

Just VOTE YES and be happy that you have a job! I'm voting YES and take a second job (loading boxes) across the taxi way at FEDEX  Why should anyone be paid to work at an airline? If AA just offered people flight benefits and nothing else, there would still be thousands of STUPID people willing to work here!

Funny you should mention flight benefits. USairways has an add in the paper hiring $9 baggage handlers but they offer the "best flight benefit package" in the airlines. No mention of medical, retirement/401k, etc, just flight benefits.

Flight benefits at TUL are practically useless because of load factors and the amount of employees competing for seats. The only reason we have AA mainline service at all is because of the maintenance base.

Moderator, what ever happened to the labor board? Now we all have to listen to this TWU/AMFA debate, which is like diarrhea, it just keeps running on and on....

If the compAAny didn't add dead people, retired people, people who never worked for AA, terminated probies, etc, etc, etc, to protect the twu in the recent card filing at the NMB, this argument would be over because the twu would gone. Due to the compAAnies actions, the argument will now have to be over this fall with the twu being booted after we file the cards again.

When your watching the tube, if you don't like what's on, change the channel.....

Sorry us peon "ground workers" invaded your pilot, flt attendant, and manAAgement only space.

Maybe we should all move into the F/A and Pilot Threads and ask them what makes their debate more important than ours?

I'll bet lpbrian has first hand experience with diarrhea!

Yea, let's go back to exclusive scheduling and staffing issues.

This poll is misleading. I wanted to vote for all three choices, because you know all three are happening or will happen!
