US Airways is set to get 1 new long distance flt from DCA so where should it use that route? United and Virgin are going to fly to SFO. American to LAX and SW to MCI for 1. Alaska, JB, Spirt, Republic and others have not recieved a new slot yet or announced where they would fly if they recieve a slot..

WN didnt not apply for MCI, they applied for OKC.

how about Mickey Mouse land! 🙂 just kidding Id say why not Portland or Sea

WN didnt not apply for MCI, they applied for OKC.

I believe OKC is within the perimeter so it is not related to the beyond perimeter exceptions.....

I think US should choose SAN...they would have a monopoly on the route and would get a lot of military contracts....LAX and SFO will already have competition.

No its not within the perimeter, they have applied with the DOT for the route, if it was in the range, they wouldnt have to apply.

Southwest Airlines proposes nonstop service between Washington National and Oklahoma City

Southwest Airlines has asked for the right to operate one flight a day between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Oklahoma City, saying Oklahoma City is the largest market out of Washington National without nonstop service.

Southwest is trying to get the Air 21 slot we are using for Jackson MS, they want to fly DAL-OKC-DCA.

WN is applying for us airways air21 Jackson MS slot. They want to use it for OKC ,this would not be considered a beyond perimiter slot. F9 also applyed for this air 21 slot for use between Louisville Ky.
