Which Flight to Take

I am gonna book a trip to LAS from PHL and the 2 flights that I am choosing from are a US 757 at 7:50am and a HP 320 at 8:00am. They both have the same fares, and only 10 minutes difference. Both flights seem pretty empty. Which flight should I take,the US or HP flight?

Six to one, half dozen the other...

Personally, I think I would take the HP flight. The company still runs two different operating certificates. If there were to be a situation where the company needed that US 757, they could dump you on the HP flight or any other US LAS flight and cancel the 757..Not that that will happen, but that HP plane comes in and has to go west. Just my thoughts.

Watch HP though ... In my experience (many) it showed "lots" of seats and we show up at the gate and be "oversold" ... without any previously canceled flights; whereas US has been pretty accurate in terms of their PBTs (pax boarding totals .. west term)
