Why is the IAM not telling fleet what was offered

141 was not in talks yesterday 1-31-08. The reason I know, I was talking to an AGC who happens
to be on the committee. Unless he has a clone double I'd say he was either left out of the loop
or there were no negotiations going on. I shook his hand and i believe the skin was real.

It’s interesting , when I saw your screen name I knew almost instantly that I wouldn’t like what you had to post , I don’t know why , but I have a bad feeling about you . I will get you in touch with others in your station that are already on board and participating to get rid of Canale once and for all. Next week is going to be 'gooooooood' as Boss Canale will not even be able to secure his nomination in his very own station, PHL. At this time, we don't even believe anyone from US AIRWAYS will nominate him in PHL, his only hope of getting even one person to nominate him will most likely come from one of the couple dozen United guys...but even they are rallying in support against him in PHL. Canale will experience 'great pain' in PHL next week. Also, we must deny all of those on Canale's ticket their home local. This is very important since these guys are out there running their mouths right now and going to stations that they haven't been to in years. Let's not have sympathy for the home guy, we must show the system that if these guys can't get the nominations in their very own local then they shouldn't be out in other stations running their mouths against the new direction team.

Yea I did jump the gun, but remember bad info gets the ball rolling in the wrong direction for newbies and those out of the loop. Don't get a bad feeling for me, I've lived it and been there. Organizing for twenty five plus, steward, grievence committee. Management is the worst I've ever seen it, union leadership is even worse. I bash the union leadership not the union it's self. The IAM in the past has had a good track record in the airlines and other work too. It's that we have people running 141 who are fat happy and the only thing they care about is thier pay check. After 13 years on the property we have yet to have a work action it's always let's get along. I've been on the block before for organizing, I know most of the ones still around who were the " core " people at both airlines AKA PI AND AL.

What is happening at PHX is great, Just dont't let the current IAM leadership pull you in.
I don't know RR but if he is hanging with "cheap suites" I 'd beware. The district only courts those with
super glued lips, thats why Jerry Moore, Bonar, Lolly and others have been booted from committees.
Because they didn't want to go along with the 'cheap suites" plan.
If I ever meet you in person, I'll tell you some good organizing stories, all were real.

It seems that Randy and the IP are paniced because the New Direction Slate is sweeping across the nation. Be on the lookout for some type of bulletin to be put out this week saying that the company and the IAM have met to discuss a possible merger. They will proceed to tell you that UAL can't possibly survive this merger without Randy's experience at these types of things. Send me a dollar for every time you hear we can't change horses in the middle of a race. Ask USAir how he's handled their merger so far. They will tell you WE BETTER CHANGE WHORES IN THE BEGINNING BECAUSE OUR WHORE IS AN OLD NAG. Oops I meant horse. Either one is appropriate. Don't fall for this crap. Randy can't merge Legos let alone airlines. His sacred team of negotiators Himself, Eulo, Pasquirrelli and so on negotiated the last two piece of #### deals crammed down our throats. Hey! new to the board, but have been reading it for years. Tim keep up the good work, out with the old in with the new. Outsourcing must be removed from any TA. Been with us 20+ years, but outsourced in 2005. Now one of 25 or so furloughed us employees who came back as a west employee under pay seniority, but sorry we can't give you your seniority. We all need to unite together. Large stations, small stations, don't let them divide and conquer. As the east knows, Al has been a huge thorn in our sides for years ( could use different words but trying to play nice ). NC team needs to let the members know what the company offered, it's our lively hood in jeopardy, not theirs. I know the east doesn't relize the type of employees we get at $7.50 hr. There are days when I feel like every time I step on the ramp I put my life in danger. Unfortunetly the west agents are used to this, because that's the way it has always been. It will never change until we clean the IAM house, and get some real negotiators in.

down everyone else. Post what he has done for the fleet group instead of your
propaganda dismissing the credibility of Delaney. If indeed you are one of his
associates it is time for you to come back to the work group you represented
so well and earn your paycheck. Do you feel you'll be accepted back ? Canale has
had ample time to show his worthiness and has failed on all, all occasions....in my
opinion.
