Will Us Airways Employees Do Whatever It Takes?

There is a poll that singles out the pilot group asking if there will be more give by this group. We have all come along way, much further than many of the naysayers ever would have envisioned us reaching.

In the months and years to come, will you continue to put out 100% for our airline, and would you consider changes that will eliminate any other labor contract items that set us apart (in a non-competitive/negitive way) from our competitors.

Bottom line, we must be on a level playing field.

The company told the judge that if they got the contract changes they wanted, we'd have a labor cost per ASM almost exactly halfway between WN (the most consistently profitable LCC in the country [correct that, make it air carrier in the world]) and B6 (the youngest and lowest cost LCC in the country).

[Edit 2 (I wanted to check to be sure) If the company told the judge the truth, the cost of every mainline employee will be only a little more than twice as much per ASM as the MDA pilot cost per ASM in Oct 04]

Well, they got the changes they wanted. So exactly what are these "non-comnpetitive" contract items you think are still there?

How many times have you heard that? I wouldn't be so sure. At least you didn't use the "never" word. Theres one pilot that I am sure will labor for everyone except himself to give up more.

Play the coy innocence bit, as well you may, but I haven't just fallen off a turnip truck in regards to exposure to your posts/polls, to say nothing of the obsession that must be present to post half the replies of your own topic. For my part, I'll throw tact into the wind and be blunt:

I find your polls disingenuous; strawmen all...with bogus loaded questions posed to make those that disagree with you appear unreasonable. I half expect your next poll to be something along the lines of "Are you ready to be a good-sport, team player and all-around nice guy and make this enterprise an economic juggernaut ( ie: Concessions , round IV ) and pitch in?.....or....are you the type that likes to stomp up and down on gunnysacks full of fluffy little kittens as you cackle like Dr. Evil?"

Also, I do not care for the tone of your other posts, and the profile created therein is one of somebody I would have a dislike for; Hence, the voting no for spite comment.

They have twice....er...3 times ( which was NO charm ). Now, insofar as the 3rd is a done deal, one can only conclude you're testing the waters for #4.

IMHO, YOU simply don't like my viewpoint on the issues, so you attack me. Knock yourself out, this place is a place to exchange views, that is what I do, respectfully exchange views.

I think this poll is very straight forward and has NO loaded questions. Is gives EVERYONE a stake in the question and the vote, assuming they work here. It is not about one group, nor does it pit one group against another.

If you don't like it, don't vote! That is much more intelligent that voting no in spite.

Did you do that on the restructuring agreement too?
